TechStories Gets Going
In
1996, Kerber left Legato to form TechStories. Years after leaving
Legato, Kerber ran into Legato employees who commented about the lack
of excitement and lackluster lead generation in marketing since the
Kerber days.
It was time to spread the magic and help other
technology companies achieve their marketing goals. Multimedia was
fast becoming a hot, new form of corporate communication. For the first
time, prospects could experience "live" demos of products, while also
seeing and hearing company executives and "happy" customers speak to
them--all from the comfort of their desk. Having had success with
multimedia at Legato, Kerber launched TechStories with visions of
multimedia stories running through her head. And, soon after, these
visions became reality. Clients found the multimedia/video tools to be a
valuable addition to their collateral portfolio, especially when
introducing a new product or technology to the market. Clients
distributed their CDs en masse for sales training, prospect information
kits, press kits and channel information/training. TechStories also
produced videos for special events and presentations.
